What God Won’t Do For You

It is a part of God’s plan to grant us, in answer to the prayer of faith, that which He would not bestow did we not thus ask. – {OFC 41.3}

Psalms 5:3 – My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.

Sometimes I’ve thought that, “Oh, God is familiar with the situation,” and that I don’t need to pray that much about something. But that’s not the way it works. Certainly God will look out for us in things we don’t know to pray for, but he wants us to use prayer to reach toward him, and hold onto Him, with the hand of faith. He also wants to teach us what to pray for. Prayer is an opportunity to connect with God.
